About This Mashup
This directory was created by analyzing the pitches from the PilotCity NYC Pitchfest 2026 and matching them against thousands of projects in the Civic Tech Field Guide (CTFG) database.
Methodology
Using a combination of TF-IDF vectorization and LLM-based semantic analysis (Claude 3.5 Sonnet / GPT-4o), we extracted the core needs, technical requirements, and target outcomes of each agency pitch. These requirements were then scored against the CTFG database to identify the most relevant existing civic tech initiatives, platforms, and methodologies.
